What a busy weekend!

Recharging after all the excitement! Aren't I adorable?

Mommy said I did a pretty good job sleeping in my pack-n-play,

but I have to admit, I prefer my own bed.

This past weekend mommy and daddy loaded me up and took me with them to the Launch Retreat with our church...it is a retreat at Pine Cove Christian Camps for young adults, but since my daddy is the Director for young adults community we got to go too. We had a lot of fun! I got to spend time with my friends Anna and Elle and I was given so much attention! It was great!! I got to worship with mommy and daddy, sleep through a sermon, play on the baby playground, sit in a big girl highchair for the very first time, and go on several walks with mommy. Oh, and daddy dipped me in the pool for just a minute...mommy said I couldn't get in the pool this weekend because I was just getting over a cold, but even the little dip was enough to get me really excited. I also celebrated my half-birthday while we were there...mommy says she can't believe I'm 6 months old already! She says I have grown so much and it is has been such a joy to be apart of every second of it!! She even talks about possibly having a little brother or sister for me sometime, but probably not for a while...she's just loving me right now (which is fine by me)!! Mommy and Daddy said that they were so proud of me and that I was such an angel this weekend (what did they expect, I'm usually always an angel?!); however, I was glad to be back in my own bed last night...I sleep so much better there. And daddy set up my highchair last night when we got home...I can't wait until dinner time!

I was a little overwhelmed with all my toys within such good reach though. I couldn't decide which ones to play with, so I kept swooping all of them towards me at once, then they would all fall down between the highchair and me, and then mommy would have to find them all.

Mommy even fed me in the highchair. She said she was going to get daddy to put my highchair together as soon as we got home. I'm so excited!
