Boy, last week was a busy week full of fun surprises! First, I decided to surprise mommy and daddy by adding a new word to my vocabulary..."
dada". Mommy was feeding me some lunch and daddy was standing next to us working on his computer. I was beginning to get bored with sitting in my highchair and my tummy was full, so I thought that if I looked up at Daddy and said his name, he might swoop me up and love on me a little bit...I was right! I turned to him and begin saying, "
dada da da da dada". Mommy asked daddy if he heard me and she asked me what I had said... "Did you say
dada?", she asked. I said it again for them, and again, and again, and again...even on cue! I think it might be my new favorite word because I say it all the time and I love to say it...mommy and especially daddy love to hear me say it too!! They say that the way I say it is
soooo cute! If I would have known how much it stole daddy's heart for him to hear me say that word, I would have said it a long time ago. I've been saying "mama" for a while, but usually when I'm tired or not feeling well, but after I saw their excitement from "
dada", I decided that I would start saying mama more too. Mommy and Daddy say I'm getting so smart...I have to agree!
Now, My First Thanksgiving...

Getting all rested up on the way down to Aunt Amy's Thanksgiving Day!

Thanks Nana for my Thanksgiving outfit, complete with turkey socks and all!
It was awesome! I got to spend my very first Thanksgiving with all the people that I love...well, maybe not all, but most anyway! We went down to Aunt Amy's house for lunch...and both sets of grandparents were there (Nana & Papa and
Lala & Pops)! Uncle Matthew got to ride with us to their house and I got to play with cousin Joshua (although not too close because he had a runny nose which I ended up getting anyway) and cousin Audrey, who is so sweet to me. We ate, shared what were thankful for, and
Lala even put me down for a nap. Then Nana and Papa stayed the whole weekend with me, and
Lala and Pops came up to visit all day on Saturday! It was definitely a busy Thanksgiving Holiday, but I loved every minute of it!!

Me with Nana and Papa...mommy what did I tell you about that flash!?

I love my Uncle Matt! Aunt Melissa, we missed you!
I love to just hang out and sit with Papa...his lap is really comfy!
Mommy got all our Christmas decorations up over the weekend and she thought it would be funny to even decorate me...I wasn't laughing though!
****Lala, mommy needs pictures with you and Pops to put here!!!! How did she not snap a few pics of us???...I'm so grateful I got to see ya'll this weekend and can't wait until Christmas!
