Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Okay, so I am so sorry and sad that I have not posted an update on our sweet little angel in over a month! I guess we've just been busy with the holidays and enjoying all the exciting new happenings and adventures. She is growing up so fast and is such a fun, amazingly precious, and extremely good natured little girl! Since it's been so long since the last post I figure the easiest way to get everyone caught up is by posting pictures we've taken between then and now and give a brief update with each one, so here they are...
Have I mentioned that Presley loves the phone and the computer? Here is a pic of her getting excited that we actually let her have free range with the phone one day.
Presley's first Christmas presents came from her thoughtful Aunt Connie...a t-shirt from Florida (that's just a little big), a precious little bumble bee, the coolest animal fold-out book, and those adorable baby uggs (they are too cute!!). Thanks Aunt Connie and Uncle Gary!

Her second gift came from her boyfriend Collin...a yummy and really cool pair of "real" keys (Presley's wondering where the car is to go with them, Collin?) and the sweetest book, "Someday".

Presley really got the hang of opening presents after the first couple.
It just took a long time to open one....
"Okay, so I finally got the paper out, now what...?"
"Yes, after about 15 minutes I finally got to the gift....I love it!!"

We always try to do Christmas with both families, so we attempted to do the same this year...it was a success, but hopefully next year it won't be so rushed!
Christmas at Nana and Papa's!
Christmas in Cuero with Lala and Pops and cousins Audrey and Joshua!

Presley and Gramps!
"Wow! What cool toys!"
"Thanks everyone for making my 1st Christmas so special!!! I love you all so very much!!!"
More news...Presley now has 5 teeth total (3 on top and 2 on bottom...she'd missing one of her front top teeth.?), she is the fastest crawler I've ever seen, cruising back and forth on all the furniture, loving to climb the stairs, and becoming very vocal (experimenting with her voice's pitch and the different sounds she can make). We are enjoying every second of parenting her and pray that the Lord will continue to guide us to be the parents He calls us to be.
